Intro to Gelli Plate Printing Workshop
Gelli Plate Printing is a versatile form of mono printing that uses a soft, reusable gelatin-like plate to create unique, layered prints. By applying acrylic paint with a brayer and using tools for texture, paper is pressed onto the plate to produce one-of-a-kind, textured art. The papers created can be used for many things – creating cards, covering journals, and as wrapping paper and much more!

Felted Stone Workshop
Join me for this relaxing, grounding workshop. We will start out with a meditative labyrinth walk (weather permitting) and then choose a meaningful, grounding word to paint onto our stone. We will then use wool fibers and the felting method to wrap the stone. The process can be relaxing and grounding. No art experience necessary!

Hi. I'm Cheryl
Art has been a part of my life since I was a little kid, from coloring on my grandparents' freshly painted walls at the age of 2, to painting for hours in my room as a teen, and as an adult, always being involved in some type of art (pottery, collage, acrylic painting, alcohol ink painting, and watercolor painting).
I began my healing journey later in life and found that the creative process was one of the most powerful tools I had to express myself when I could not find words. This led me to becoming an art therapist, where I could integrate my love of art with helping people on their journeys.
With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Art Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Psychoanalyst, I recognize the uniqueness of each individual and that no 'one-size-fits-all' approach exists. My role is to support you on your journey, listening deeply to you, and working together to uncover the most effective strategies to meet your needs.
I am especially passionate about using art to express difficult emotions and helping individuals connect with their bodies and inner wisdom. Additionally, I am passionate about helping people access their 'inner artist' and explore creativity as a means to enhance their well-being.
